Assembly 2006: Bands
Thursday night at 01.30 am, ‘Mysterious Ways’ starts playing at Lapin Kulta-bar. The band will perform groovy blues and rock music. They perform their own music as well as some classic cover versions. We can expect some great music and a fun packed environment.
Friday night at 02.00 am, ‘Embreach’ rises to the stage. They are offering some great Finnish metal music. So if you’ve built up some aggression from the WoW games turn up and check them out. In any event I’m sure we’ll be hearing more about this band in the future!
For our ‘Saturday night fever’ event we are pleased to present to you ‘Goto 80’ & ‘Jossystem’. They will present us with an electronic music festival that is a really must-see! Don’t be a sore loser and miss out. It’ll be no fun hearing everyone else talking about them later on.
On Saturday night at 12.00pm ‘Desert Planet’ will hit the floor. If you have caught yourself several times humming the Mario tune in your head, you might be interested to know that this duo creates music that is influenced by old computer games and B-class sci-fi movies. It’s very interesting and fun music to listen to. Come up and experience it for yourself!
Compos and Compo Studio
One of the most interesting events at Assembly is ‘Compos & Compo’ studios.
If you want, you can attend one of the compos, or just stop by to admire any of the other talented performers.
If you are too afraid to accept the challenge, you can always watch the Compos from our AssemblyTV. All the Compo timetables can be found at:http://www.assemblytv.net/2006/en/schedule
At Compo studio we will be closely following all the Compos and interviewing several of the professionals and visitors. We will tell you all about Compos ideas and objectives and much, much more. Like all good game studios, we’ll make sure nobody’s left out in the cold. Our hosts Reelika and Matthew will keep the sporting spirit high. Join us at AssemblyTV and get tuned in!
