2006 stream viewing guide

The links for the streams have been activated. Choose the stream that is suitable for your internet connection and ENJOY.

Quickstart

1. Select the suitable bitrate for you and click on the corresponding link below. The stream should automatically start.

* 512 kbps stream
* 1024 kbps stream
* 2048 kbps stream

2. If your web browser asks for additional components, follow the browser's instructions to install them

Partyplace multicast

High quality multicast address at the partyplace for VLC:
udp://@233.134.83.42:1234

Or with VLC choose Manages > Serviced Discovery > SAP Announcements and wait a moment for the AssemblyTV stream to appear in the list. This may not work if you have a firewall set up.

Advanced viewing

Addresses for VLC, MPlayer etc.

Basic viewing is based on the Cortado Java-applet. If you do not want to install Java or the basic stream is too heavy for your computer, you can also view the stream directly with VLC or MPlayer. Click on the link for your bandwidth and copy the url shown on the viewing page into VLC (open network stream) or MPlayer.

Troubleshooting

Proxies
If the stream fails to open, you may need a HTTP proxy to access HTTP content (common in enterprise networks). In VLC you can enter the proxy address in "Settings ; Preferences.." under "Access modules" and "HTTP/HTTPS" using the format address:port. See the Advanced viewing section for instructions on using VLC.
