Viewing the broadcast

The broadcast is available on the front page as flash video. You can also watch the broadcast on the DNA cable network in the Helsinki region in SD on the stadi.TV channel slot 93 and HD on channel slot 94. Most content is in HD.

If you would like to view the broadcast using a mobile device or use VLC media player links are provided below. There are separate links for players supporting RTSP/3GPP streams and Apple devices. Remember to use the correct links.

If you are at the partyplace or on the Funet network, you can view the broadcast as multicast. Links for these are provided close to the bottom of this page.

RTSP Players

These RTSP links can be used in VLC media player or with mobile devices supporting 3GPP/RTSP streams. These include many Nokia phones.

multicast

Multicast is available on selected networks. Check the subheadings below to see whether your network or Internet connection provider is listed. The multicast is available in HD and SD. The resolution of the HD multicast is 720p (1280x720).

The bitstream of the HD multicast is approximately 8 Mbps and the SD multicast is approximately 4 Mbps. The format is h.264 video and AAC audio in an MPEG TS container. Many home routers unfortunately do not support multicast properly.

You can use VLC media player to watch the multicast. Open the context menu for the playlist view and select "Services discovery -> SAP Announcements". The channel(s) should now be displayed in the playlist. If this does not work you can try opening the following direct addresses:
